DMACC Girls Basketball Camps
Camp Staff
Assistant Coach Angie McGee
Angie McGee is in her third-year as DMACC's Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach. McGee holds the all-time leading scoring and rebounding records for Homestead High School in Mequon, WI. She went on to be named co-freshman of the year as a junior college athlete in the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Eastern Division. She transferred to the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP), where she played Division I basketball. She was among the top three in scoring and rebounding at UTEP. McGee was also once named Western Athletic Conference Player of the Week. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Electronic Media from the University of Texas at El Paso this past May.
Coach McGee runs the Bears strength and conditioning program as well as on the floor coaching, recruiting, scouting and assisting Coach K in the day-to-day operations of running a successful college basketball program.
Angie lives in Boone where she is a resident assistant in the Borgen Square Apartments. Angie also works on campus in Student Activities. _________________________________________________________________________________
Assistant Coach Dana Goodwin
This is Dana Goodwin’s sixth season as an assistant coach with the DMACC Women’s Basketball program. During his first four years he helped guide the teams, which included 17 All-Region players and four NJCAA All-Americans, to a 95-35 record. His duties at DMACC include on the floor coaching, recruiting and scouting.
Dana came to DMACC after serving as an assistant coach at Ames High School for seven years in both boys and girls basketball. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from Iowa State University.
Dana resides in Ames, with his wife Tonja, daughter Kendra and son Trevor, where he teaches Physical Education at Ames Middle School. ______________________________________________________________________________
