This is Dana Goodwin’s sixth season as an assistant coach with the DMACC Women’s Basketball program. During his first four years he helped guide the teams, which included 17 All-Region players and four NJCAA All-Americans, to a 95-35 record. His duties at DMACC include on the floor coaching, recruiting and scouting.Dana came to DMACC after serving as an assistant coach at Ames High School for seven years in both boys and girls basketball. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from Iowa State University.
Dana resides in Ames, with his wife Tonja, daughter Kendra and son Trevor, where he teaches Physical Education at Ames Middle School.
